One of my favorite things to do with my children is to observe nature! This chipmunk was particularly fun to observe at my parent's home where nature abounds on their six acres. These busy and very fast little critters will sometimes take a break to eat. We were able to observe just that!
After observing this chipmunk for a few days we added him to our nature journal. We simply colored our chipmunk then glued a piece of brown felt to his body to represent his soft fur. If you would like to print this page please download it here for FREE!
Although our nature journal is very simple we have enjoined doing each short activity then adding it to our binder. Often we look through our binder at all the nature we have observed or learned about!
