Shaping Your Homeschooling Philosophy

Looking to shape your homeschooling philosophy? My dear friend pointed me to a great resource that I would like to share! The Charlotte Mason Method. Charlotte Mason was a British teacher in the Late 1800's early 1900's. She shaped and formed her educational philosophy into three categories, "Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, and a Life!" The website "Simply Charlotte" offers a great wealth of resources.  Please visit the website and see for yourself!

  1. I'm so glad that you are liking the website! I use a few resources from the site and love them! We've started going on fairly regular nature walks like they are big fans of (that will be our summer science), if you guys ever want to come, let me know =)

  2. Wow, Jessica, thanks! I've never heard of Charlotte Mason before. I've just read I couple of basic points and totally agree with them. Especially for a 2 year old: good habits, character, and surroundings are the most important. I will find time to read more.
